Going Grey Gracefully-To Color or Not To Color

I think my stylist thinks I’m cuckoo

Do you color your hair? Have you accepted going grey gracefully, or are you fighting it til the end? There is no right or wrong answer for it is most certainly a personal and individual choice. But what are your thoughts on coloring your hair?

I found my first grey hair in Feb 1995, oh yes, I remember it vividly. I was 31 years old, and there it was; right up front! I was mortified. I was too young, lol. I called my aunt to tell her…I did not run straight out to buy hair color though. I analyzed it. Yes, that’s right, I studied that bugger for days. I decided it was that pretty white/silvery color and wouldn’t be so bad if they were all that way. Of course there is no way to know with just one grey hair what the rest will be like, and 22 years later I still don’t know!

I decided I didn’t want to color my hair and although I have gone through phases of coloring since. I have not colored my hair to hide the grey. I developed some notion that coloring it would cause it to be an ugly shade of grey and shied away from it. If I must have grey hair, I want pretty grey. I think my stylist thinks I’m cuckoo. After several years, though, I started coloring it on occasion to have a different color. I only colored now and again just for a change. I found I really have no patience for touching up roots every few weeks. I’m a let it grow out and then color the entire head kind of person. I guess that’s ok, but it can look pretty bad; depending on what color you went with. Heck, I don’t even like going for a trim with any regularity. Well, that’s not entirely true. I don’t think far enough in advance to make an appointment with any regularity. I think about needing to go, but take forever to call and get in…..

Both of my grandmothers had beautiful white hair and that’s what I am hoping for. That’s not too much to ask for, is it?

I also found that no matter what color I used (shade or brand) I always ended up with red hair or a red tint for a couple of weeks after. I used one particular brand once, and went with an auburn shade (I figured if it was going to look red why not). It turned out almost neon red! My neighbors across the street didn’t think it was me! They thought “The Man” had moved someone new in!!! You can be sure I never used that brand again!

This picture is one of the last times I colored my hair; a couple of weeks before my sons wedding almost two years ago. As you can see it still looks fairly red on the day of the wedding.

This was not quite a year ago as the color from my last coloring was growing out. If I could have this shade from day one until time to color again; I might color it again. I don’t think there are any guarantees!

And this is now. My own au natural hair. I realized when I looked at this picture I have my own unique color, It is called “tree bark”! Go on in and ask your stylist for this color…

As you can see there is quite a bit of “snow on the mountian top”. Now if only it would just “do its thing” and turn; I would be happy. Or would I? I considered coloring it all grey once (that seems to be quite the rage). I figured that would be a way of knowing what it would look like and if I would like it. I went so far as to talk to my stylist about it. When she told me I would have to bleach all my color out and then color it. I gave that notion up real fast!!! Mother Nature can just take over.

I have a true love/hate relationship with my hair. I go in for a trim and like it for about ten minutes after leave, then it drives me bonkers for a few weeks before I like it again, then it’s time to repeat…..Someone once said I should find a new stylist. I have tried that. I haven’t found one that I like any better than the one I have used for years. If you are local and have any recommendations; I am open. Let me know who you use. Tell me your thoughts. Do you color? Have you recently stopped coloring? Are you going to go down in a blaze of coloring glory? I would love to hear from you and what you think.

Last week was a slow writing week, here on the blog. To say I was preoccupied with all the goings on with Miss Caterina is an understatement. The week certainly did not go the way I had envisioned it. For those who don’t already know you can read about it on last Mondays blog post; www.grandma2glamma.com/things-dont-always-go-as-planned if you do know what was going on, Miss Caterina came home Wednesday and seems to be doing very well! Thank you, everyone, for the prayers and good thoughts.

Have you signed up for the blog email yet? If not, what are you waiting for? I just know you want to be the first to know when the newest edition hits the press, lol! I really appreciate everyone who takes the time to like, share and comment, here and on my social media pages. When you take your time to do that it helps get the blog out to more people. You just never know if something that day is just what someone might need to read.

Facebook is always changing their algorithms and apparently the latest news is they show the pages with the most interaction; those with comments of more than three words and those with love, wow, haha symbols clicked more than just like button. These are getting more showings than others…..so please when you have a few moments in your day head over and show the page some more love. Saturday Strength Training Workout

I was just a bit preoccupied

This was not my typical Saturday. I did attend the meeting of the #saturday7amsocialclub, then headed off to my Saturday morning “torture-uh-training” session with Jeff, as usual. I was anticipating this was going to be a rough workout. I watched what Jeff was doing off and all week on social media and had visions of what was to come….fortunately it was a bit rainy, so somethings didn’t go quite as what he may have had planned. And mind you, I am not complaining! Lol.

It was dead lift week, but we didn’t go too heavy this week. Jeff, wanted to keep it light and work on speed, so we kept the weight at “only” 115 lbs.  Now tell me;  who needs to pick up heavy things fast? Isn’t that like an oxymoron or something?

After we were finished, Jeff, remembered he hadn’t taken pictures and decided, I should do one more set so he could make the video below. He said this was a good training/learning video because it shows me rounding my shoulders instead of keeping my back flat and shoulders locked. I’m curious if that is because we had already done a lot of work and I was getting fatigued and would it have looked different early on? Definitely something to focus on and look at. This week I’m not so sure.

I was just a bit preoccupied, over tired, and had considered canceling (I’ve only done that once or twice when I was too sick to go). If you read yesterday’s post you know why. If not you can read it here: www.grandma2glamma.com/things-don’t-always-go-as-planned

Let me know if you can see and play the video. This is something new I’m trying, and I am not sure it is going to play.

We briefly talked about the possibility of training for and competing in a power-lifting meet. I have half seriously been considering it, but I also know the possibility is off the table since I was selected for the marathon and have to train for that. I think I have decided to go for it once the marathon is over, so, I wanted to start getting an idea of what to work for. I even went so far as to look up the state records for my age and weight class; there aren’t any….I messaged Jeff what I found and he said there must be something and he was going to check. Now really; how many 50+ ladies does he think are rushing to pick up “super heavy stuff”? Only us crazies 😜 with 20 something trainers, who pick up heavy stuff! I checked three different power-lifting federations (?) records and found nothing for MD. I don’t know if Jeff, checked or not, but he hasn’t got back to me with any other information! I should be good to go, right? Lol! It doesn’t hurt to have a plan. It’s even better if you execute said plan.

Seriously though, I can only train for one of these at a time. I will continue lifting and strength training, because it will help with running however, the amount of cardio involved with running affects me being able to train harder for lifting. It does give me time to work on my form and getting stronger. So that is the plan, or at least it’s my plan. Who knows what Jeff will think… My bench press is definitely my weakest link and will need the most work. For some reason in my mind that is the scariest. I think I have a fear of dropping the bar on me….Maybe I better get to work on those push ups….😳I definitely have some shoulder instability, so I should probably work on that. I’m also not the most coordinated person ever. Jeff, has said that has improved though…maybe a tad….somedays.

We shall see.

Things Don’t Always Go As Planned

If you are so inclined; please take a moment to say a prayer

We have a new grand little! It’s a girl! Do you remember I told you the newest grand little was due to be delivered this past Friday 4/21? Well, she was, but not completely according to plan.

Since she was scheduled to be born via C-section, her mother had her last doctors appointment on Thursday. Well, at that appointment her blood pressure was elevated, her feet were swollen as big as my head, and the hospital wasn’t packed; so they decided they would deliver her Thursday night…..everyone rushed to get things done and head off to the hospital to await the arrival. Well, you know, it didn’t happen that way.

During the couple of hours before she had to be at the hospital, apparently half the town decided to go into labor, and the labor and delivery unit started filling up fast. After, being admitted, prepped, and several hours of sitting there, the doctor determined that moms BP had stabilized, and there was no reason not to wait until Friday as planned. So, by the time they put her in a room and everyone got their game plan on for Friday and headed home it was after 11:00pm! We headed home to try for a few hours sleep.

We reassembled at the hospital on Friday morning to await the big event! At 10:00am Miss Caterina Faith, made her grand entrance, weighing in at 8’10” and 19.75 inches long!

Isn’t she adorable?

Later that day it was determined that her blood sugar was low and after several testings she was moved to the NICU, to try to determine the cause and to bring it back up. It has come up, with IV glucose therapy, but once she is taken off it starts going right back down. This is something that can be just a minor transitioning issue to being VERY serious and potentially life threatening. It has been said they have ruled those out, but I’m not sure, I’ve spent many years in health care and don’t trust the system or most doctors any farther than I can throw them! And then there is just something about “we’ve tested for everything”, “there is no reason”, “this is a normal occurrence”, and “we are starting to rule things out” that just makes me think; they haven’t checked for “everything” yet…..but what do I know? Apparently, they say, that they have determined it isn’t diabetes or an infection. They think it is just because she is a big baby. Maybe. I sure hope and pray so. But in the meantime….

I have told mom and dad, they need to ask “specific” questions and take notes! Sadly, in this day and age you have to CYA, first. They need to know you are asking, researching, documenting, and not just blindly trusting what you are being told. Most doctors hate it when you turn to Dr. Google, but it’s definitely in your best interest to be as informed as possible. Yes, you can scare yourself silly, but you can also know what to ask! And being specific is important.

As of now she will remain in the NICU until she can be weaned off the supplemental glucose and her blood sugar levels remain above 50 for 9-12 hours. If you are so inclined; please take a moment to say a prayer, send good thoughts, or mojo. Whatever you can do, would be greatly appreciated.

Have any of you or anyone you know, experienced this? If so, how long did it take to straighten out? Was it just a “routine” this happened or were there underlying causes? Please take a moment and let me know. I will certainly keep you updated on Miss Caterina’s progress.

Until the next time

Muddling Along

Not great but a start in the right direction

It has been a long and challenging week or at least the end to last week was! Remember I told you last week about the hit run involving “The Mans” car? Well somewhere along the way I gave into temptations and had a few days of a “free for all”.

I got up Saturday morning and headed off to the meeting of the #Saturday7amsocialclub up a full 6 pounds from my first of the month weigh in and 5 full pounds from where I was on Wednesday morning!!! After that, off I went to meet with Jeff, my trainer. He was very supportive, and tried to make me feel better by telling me I was just carb-loading for our workout, lol! Now had that really been the case; yes, I would have gained that amount of weight and been “almost” ok with it. But, even I knew better. Of course there were plenty of carbs involved, along with fat and salt and other bits of junk!!!!

He worked my rear off….but then that is nothing new. I did leave ready to get it together. I had decided on Friday that enough was enough and started getting back to my regular way of eating, but lets face it; one day does not undo the damage. We skipped our Saturday date night. I know I had to leave it be. I was also planning on getting “The Man” to take me to breakfast on Sunday (yes there was a method to my madness, Lol). Two meals out was not feasible, under the circumstances. Considering part of the problem was eating take out several days last week, even one meal was pushing it.

I got up Sunday morning and weighed. I usually don’t do that on Sunday; I give the scale a day of rest. I had lost 1 of those interloping pounds. It almost made me rethink going out for breakfast; after all it was a holiday too and I knew what was on the menu for that.

We went anyway and went back to the “Iron Rooster” restaurant I told you about a couple of weeks ago. It was such a beautiful spring morning that they had the glass doors open and outside seating available. We weren’t quite sure about sitting outside so early in the morning yet, so we sat next to the open doors. It was a great mix of fresh air and sunshine.

We got one of those yummy homemade pop tarts to share again and I ordered the sausage gravy biscuit this time. There was only one biscuit, but it was HUGE!!!! I only  ate half of it and brought the rest home. I thought I would eat it later, but did not.

Doesn’t this look just too yummy? And trust me; it is!

On the way home I received a text from Jeff. He was sending some extra workout sets for this week!!! Can you believe that? Didn’t he have anything better to do on Easter Sunday morning? What was he doing spying on me? Maybe I shouldn’t have posted those pictures to instagram, in hopes of winning a gift card for another trip, lol!

Now if you notice, this says Monday. Does that mean I only need to do it one day, haha?  I haven’t heard otherwise, or received another text; as of yet, so? I should probably be careful what I say….I did do it Monday and Tuesday, so far, along with my other workouts; some I haven’t done in a while. He should be proud! Right? Of course, right!

Mondays weigh in was the same as Sundays, so I didn’t do too bad. As of this morning, I am happy to say I have rid myself of a bit more than two of those offending pounds. Not great, but a good start in the right direction. Now to keep the momentum going. Do you think Jeff’s extra curricula activities have contributed?

I have got back on the right food track, at least so far. How did I do it? Well, for starters I refused to go to the grocery store this week. We have enough food in this house to last through a “zombie apocalypse” so you can bet no on is going to go without. I knew a trip to the store would result in more junk food than real food (“The Man” is a junk food junkie, of the worst kind) being bought. By not bringing it in, it can’t be eaten. And lets face it; he doesn’t need it either. I think he insists on going to the store with me because he knows that’s the only way he will junk, lol!

How did you fare over the holiday? Are you fighting to get back on track, or did you have a plan and stick to it? Let me know! We are in the together!

I’m not sure if I’m going to participate in the style challenges for this week. I think it might be too much. We are gearing up for the arrival of the new grand little on Friday. This weekends challenge is: Date Night. If I manage of this weeks, it might be that; providing we go out and the weather is cooperative. That will be the challenge, this week.

I do have some new looks and ideas I want to share with you. I have been approached by Covered Perfectly (I’ve told you about them, previously, and showed some of my own items) to collaborate with them, and have accepted. I am so excited for this opportunity. Stay tuned for more to come.

Hide your Belly Challenge-Lunch with Friends

A perfect look for a casual lunch date

I hope y’all had a wonderful Easter. Did you get into a food coma? If so, I hope you have recovered by now.

Last week the challenge in the style workshop was to dress for going out to lunch with friends. This was a hard one; not hard to find something to wear, but hard because I have no friends to go out with, lol! Or should I say no friends that I socialize with beyond social media anymore…. and most of those are friends that I’ve for more years than either of us care to count, but we also now live hundreds of miles apart; so getting together for “lunch” is not an option.

Apparently when you “retire” early, and become a SAHGMa, you no longer have anything in common with others. Those whom you thought of as friends become acquaintances. I thought it was me, but I have encountered others in some blogging groups in the same boat. But back to the subject; how to dress for lunch out.

I like to be comfortable. I think of this outfit as casually chic, classic, and not too dressy. A perfect look for a casual lunch date with friends; don’t you think?

I think this look is a bit “vanilla”(?). So I added some color with turquoise accessories. I tried adding a pop of color with different shoes and bag, but although it looked ok, this was the better look.

I like color, so I’m not quite sure why I tend to purchase more neutral tones. I think I need to step out of that box more often. I do have a new royal blue top that I will be featuring soon (a little tease for you to look for).

The jeans are DG2jeggings in an indigo wash from HSN. The sleeveless sweater is by Elle and came from Kohls. I like it, but after seeing it in a picture I think it widens my   hips. What do think? The bag is from Michael Kors and the shoes are Life Stride and came from DSW. I don’t wear many flats/loafer type shoes. I have funny shaped feet and it’s hard to find them to fit and look right on my feet.

Here is a close up look at the accessories.

The jewelry is all from Plunder. The two necklaces are retired. The earrings were part of a Plunder Posse. The Posses are limited and only available during the month they are featured. The bracelet is called Selma and is still available. If you would like to order yours; I have a party link open for April www.plunderdesign.com/party/janete2

Remember if you order during the April party and know someone whose name begins with the letter “I”,  I will send you a necklace or bracelet with that letter. I received both in my mystery boxes, and would like to pay them forward. Also if you decide to join me on this Plunder journey in April, I will gift you an extra piece of jewelry in addition to your starter kit. Email me at grandma2glamma@gmail.com if you would like more information.

Happy Easter

I want to take just a minute today to wish you Easter Blessings.

“The Man” and I went to breakfast early this morning. The sun is shining, it’s a beautiful, very warm spring day. It’s a day to reflect renewal and all that you’ve been blessed with; and I did.

I have been doing that frequently the past few weeks. I have been going through a renewal (of sorts) of my own. There a lot of great things going on in my life. I believe (for reasons unknown to me) that I have been led to start this blog, and become involved with Plunder, at this particular time, for a reason. This is not a Plunder pitch, but everyday I see women being a blessing to and helping other women. Usually women who they have never even met, sometimes on the other side of the country. This is love. This is what we have been commanded to do; love one another. Not to tear each other down, because of political beliefs, different religious beliefs, or to be “holier than thou”.

I am not an overly, outward religious person; but I’m a believer. I also believe you can worship wherever you are, that you don’t have to go to a particular place to do so. Maybe that’s why I like running on Sunday so much. It’s a time for me to reflect and worship. I can see the beauty of G-d all around me.

Take a moment today to tell someone you love them. Not just the family you may spend the day with, but your fellow-man.

I love y’all! Be blessed.

Until the next time

Janet

A Denim Jacket

I was clearly deprived as a child

Remember during the style challenge from March, one of the options was a denim jacket. I didn’t have a denim jacket, so I improvised. Well, two weeks ago I purchased a denim jacket. It is my first ever denim jacket.

That’s right. I have never owned a denim jacket in my life. In fact, I had never wore or owned a pair of jeans (my mother called them dungarees) until after I got married. I was clearly deprived as a child.

This month in the style workshop; the challenge focuses on hiding your belly. This past weekend the challenge was to  “pack for a weekend away”. I used that as a way to style the denim jacket and put together a small capsule that would work for going away. Most of these pieces are from the original spring capsule, but I added in a different top and of course the jacket.

The jacket is a “good old” Levis brand jacket, which I purchased at the Levi store. The jeans are my embroidered distressed jeans from White House Black Market-WHBM, (btw I just ordered a new pair of distressed jeans, don’t tell “The Man” I don’t think he’s recovered from this purchase yet, lol) the mens inspired white shirt is from JJill.

This looks works for hiding your belly, because the shirt is loose fitting and not tight across the abdomen. By adding the jacket you also draw the eye away. This goes back to the rule of thirds. By the top being longer than the jacket, it doesn’t hit at your mid-line and draw your eye to the “problem” areas. In other words the eye isn’t drawn to the mid-section.

The booties are Vince Camuto, which you’ve seen before, and came from HSN as did the earrings. They are moonstone and smokey quartz set in silver. The pearl and leather necklace is called Kimberly and is from Plunder. When I first saw it, I wasn’t sure about it, but then I saw it on someone, and fell in love with it. I should have learned by now that things look much different in person. The catalog or website does not do them justice. Kimberly, is still available in the spring line and you can find it here http://www.plunderdesign.com/party/janete2 The bracelet is Plunder also; it is called Hearting and is retired. The choker (which I forgot to add to the photo below) is called Queenie and is actually a wrap bracelet that can be worn as a choker, and is retired too.  I have some of the new line on order and I hope they get here soon!

I added another look for this day, since it was a weekend away look. While I kept with the denim flare and used the jacket, I tried to make it a bit different. I paired my white DG2 jeggings with a top from Covered Perfectly. This is the simple comfort style in the MicroModal. It was called The Spirit. It was a limited edition and when I last checked is no longer available. Even though it is black, the design on it gives it a nice pop of color to build on with accessories.  I tried to turn so that you could see the design. I wore my blue sandals to help bookend the color in the top.

I also added turquoise in my accessories to pull the blue color up.

I added the jacket here which shows how well it goes with something other that just “blue jeans”, and it also adds the rule of thirds here too. The simple comfort tops are long enough to cover your bottom so you can wear them with most things. I have paired them with jeans and leggings. They work well with leggings because they cover front and back. If you would like them to be a little longer you can size up one size. The MicroModal fabric just glides over your body and doesn’t cling to those “lumps, bumps, and jiggly bits”. By wearing a longer tunic length top, it elimates cutting yourself in half too.

Some of the ladies in the group said this look was “crisp”. What do you think?

The sandals you’ve seen before in the challenge from last month, as well as a couple of the bangles. The bangles and necklace are all from Plunder. The necklace is called Ada. It says “bless your heart” (a southern thing for sure) so you know I love it, and it is still available. The bangles that say Fierce and Soar are no longer available, as neither is the Lindy Bangle which has my initial. I do have a Lindy Bangle and a Patsy Necklace; both with the letter I on them. If you know some one with that initial and place an order before the end of the month; message me and I will gift you your choice of the bracelet or necklace. The turquoise bangle is called Liza and still available. In fact there a lot of new turquoise pieces in the new line. The sandals are a couple of years old and came from DSW.

If you’ve been wondering how to join or thought about joining me on the Plunder journey; now is a great time! With the new catalog launch, you will get a kit with the new jewelry line. If you would like more information on how to join this amazing company and the plunder sisterhood shoot me an email at grandma2glamma@gmail.com. I would be happy to give you any information and to help you get started. If you decide to join me during the month of April I will gift you an extra piece of jewelry to go with your kit.

This was such a beautiful day to go out and enjoy the park. All things weren’t open yet, but it was nice to see life re emerging.  I’m hoping this weekend will be nice too. Sunday, as you know, is Easter and the weather is supposed to be fabulous. I hope Saturday will be too.

Have you checked out Sylvia’s website at http://www.40plusstyle.com yet? If so let me know what you think.

The subscriber list is still growing. When you share the posts on Facebook and Twitter, that’s what helps to reach more people; they are growing too. Thank you so much for your support. I really do appreciate it greatly, when you share the blog. You can also find me on Instagram and Pinterest. Remember the Facebook page is now Grandma2GlammaToo. I haven’t been able to get rid of the Too yet after that crazy FB snafu from a while back.

Drop me a line and let me know what you think about these looks. Are they a hit or miss? Would you change anything? You know I love hearing from you.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Enjoy your Easter.

When It Rains It Pours

We are counting our blessings

Can this week get any crazier? I know better than to ask that, so it isn’t a “real” question….Not only is it a full moon, I heard  there are four different planets going into retrograde or some such something, and all kind of craziness is ensuing. The grand littles have been on spring break all week and have no idea what to do with themselves. I’ve tried to step back from business and posting as much this week so that I can devote more time to them, but I’m not sure how successful I have been.

If that isn’t enough; yesterday (or should I say Tuesday night) when “The Man” was putting his stuff in his car to go to work another car came flying out of nowhere and almost took the door off our vehicle; with him standing right there! This is what it looks like:

Fortunately he was not hit or injured in any way. But can I just say; it was scary as all hell!! And had the makings to be much worse. It’s costing us money we should not have to put out but, at the end of the day, we are counting our blessings. I think it certainly undid whatever good yoga and meditation provided Tuesday night….

Needless to say, I accomplished almost nothing yesterday. The day was spent taking care of business.

I didn’t make the best food choices yesterday. I didn’t feel like cooking, that was just one chore I wasn’t up too, so we picked up some take out. On the plus side I didn’t eat my emotions. It would have been very easy to have hit up a drive through in the middle of the night when it happened. Adrenaline has a way of making you think you’re starving. I guess it’s a good thing leaving the house would have seemed like a chore, lol!

I hope your day was much less eventful than mine. I did get an email with some good news, that I’ll be able to share with you in a few weeks. Things are definitely coming together here. Please continue to like and share the blog with your friends. I appreciate it greatly and everyday the subscriber list growing. Take a few minutes and let me know what’s going on with you!

Struggling

What strategies do you use to “get your head back in the game”

March was an extremely busy month. There was the style challenge, March madness with Plunder, entering the Marine Corps Marathon lottery and getting selected (I’m still in shock over that) and trying to get things going and growing here with the blog. Trying to grow the Facebook page, and getting Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest all set-up. There is so much more to learn than I ever thought. It’s fun, but crazy, and very time-consuming.

Many days I was burning the candle at both ends. In doing so I put “me” on the back burner. Oh I’m sure it sounds like I was doing plenty for “me”. But I wasn’t taking proper care of myself.  I didn’t eat right, I didn’t exercise right,  I didn’t always get enough sleep, it seems I just ran on auto-pilot some days. So of course, I didn’t always make good choices. I would find myself grazing instead of eating a meal, or preparing the quickest thing I could get away with. Reaching for snacks. Snacks in and of themselves aren’t always bad, but when I don’t pay attention to the amount I consume, well, that is where the problem lies, and that can set me up on a slippery slope, to slide backwards and I feel like crap, I don’t sleep well, and I’m cross!

So I’m back to pulling my head out of my backside. Or at least trying. I’ve said this more than once over the past few months, but…. After all I now have a race to get ready for, and it won’t be time to start carb loading for a while, but you can bet come race week; carb load I will, hahaha!

In the meantime though, today, I switched myself to the Weight Watchers “simply filling plan”. I have to find a way to cut out the junk and this is what usually forces me to do that. I eliminate virtually all processed foods, which is what has got me going to far off the ledge. I have had a need, want, desire, obsession, craving (?) call it what you will, but salt and sugar have been my friends, lately. I’ve been able to stay with in my goal weight range, but by the skin of my teeth, and I’m certainly not doing my body any favors. I cannot train properly if I don’t fuel properly either.

If I make through this week, with ALL the littles home all day, since it’s spring break; I might be ok.

What do you do when that happens? What strategies do you use to “get your head back in the game”? Do you have any thoughts, ideas, or suggestions? If so, lay them on me! I need them all.

Wish me luck and send good vibes!

Until the next time.
